  • Huntington Beach State Park

    Huntington Beach State Park is a hidden gem on the South end of the Grand Strand, sitting between Murrells Inlet and Litchfield on Route 17. In addition to beautiful, natural, unspoiled beaches, enjoy a walk through Atalaya, a Spanish castle-inspired home built in the 1930’s by the Huntington Family. Pack a picnic and enjoy a day at the beach, or even grab some ice cream at Spoonbill’s! There are bathrooms, otddoor showers and changing rooms available here.

  • Brookgreen Gardens

    Brookgreen Gardens is a “sister park” to Huntington Beach State Park and is just across the street, also between Murrells Inlet and Litchfield. on Route 17. This park is a botanical garden, which also features the largest collection of American figurative sculpture in the world. Plan to spend your day wandering amongst flowers and butterflies, but dont miss the zoo filled with native species to the Carolina Lowcountry, the boat tour to learn about the property’s history as a rice plantation, and the guided art tours!

  • Myrtle Beach State Park

    If you are looking for a place to spend your day with the breeze in your hair and your toes in the sand, Myrtle Beach State Park is a great choice! Located between the City of Myrtle Beach and the Surfside/ Garden City area, this park features not only a beautiful stretch of sandy beach, but also a pier (free to use with park admission!), walking trails and shelters. There is also a gift shop with some snacks and ice cream available, along with bathrooms and changing areas.

  • Vereen Memorial Gardens

    Vereen Memorial Gardens is a historic site, and a portion of the plot of land owned by the Vereen family for generations. Trails wind through forest and along the Intercoastal Waterway in Little River, offering stunning views and a chance to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of the area. Admission is free, and make sure that you find the Wishing Tree and make your own wish as you hang an oyster shell on its branches.
