Myrtle Beach offers many fun attractions for all ages.

Attractions and fun for everyone

  • Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

Located in the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach, the Boardwalk sits between a row of restaurants, arcades, gift shops and other attractions and the beach. You’ll recognize it from postcards- be sure to check out the Gay Dolphin, the largest gift shop on the East Coast. It’s a hot spot for fun all season long!

  • The Pier at Garden City

When you visit, you will understand why they call it Pieradise! The Pier at Garden City, still free to walk on, is a centerpiece of the community. Enjoy fishing for a small fee, bars with live music on both ends, the salt air and beautiful sunsets. Hungry? Stop by for some snacks or ice cream, or try the Italian Ice. You won’t regret it!

  • Gigi's Arcade and Grill

Gigi’s is the locals’ choice for arcade-style entertainment in Garden City. Downstairs, you will find games, a great grill and ice cream. Think arcades of years past, complete with a prize room. Don’t skip the upstairs, where there are vintage games that will bring you back to your own arcade glory days. Insider hint: the fries are hand cut to order. Don’t skip them!

  • Ripley's Aquarium

Step into an enchanting underwater world when you enter Ripley’s Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach. Equal parts zoo, art exhibit and learning opportunity, a day spent at Ripley’s will live on in memory long after the day is done. Enjoy touching rays and peering through a glass-bottomed boat as you have close encounters with denizens of the deep!

  • Alligator Adventure

If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground, visit Alligator Adventure at Barefoot Landing. You can see a live show where they feed the gators, but the fun doesn’t stop there. This is home to a wide variety of critters, including parrots, tortoises, llamas, flamingos, big cats and more! Wander around, visit the exhibits and catch a few shows!

  • Surfside Pier

After a devastating loss due to Hurricane Matthew in 2016, the new Surfside Pier opened in 2024. For a small fee, you can walk, fish, enjoy ice cream and take in an amazing view. Stop at one of the restaurants nearby or on the pier to round out your adventure and get the most out of your visit. Plan to stay a while- you will want to!

  • Downtown Conway

Downtown Conway is the place to be! Home to the Riverwalk year-round, along with shops and restaurants, there is never a bad time to spend some time in Conway! It transforms into Halloweentown in October and is the perfect small-town Christmas postcard around the holidays.

  • Skywheel

Are you afraid of heights? If not, take the chance to go to the top of the world aboard the Myrtle Beach Skywheel. On a clear day, observe the horizon over the ocean and see the gentle curve of the Earth’s surface. Look down at the boardwalk and beach, see the lights of the amusement rides and enjoy the view!

  • Broadway Grand Prix

Let’s go racing! With tons of tracks, plus a snack bar and arcade you can race the day away here. Get an all-day wristband, which includes miniature golf and bumper cars as well as racetracks for everyone from kiddies up to serious racers, and a slick track! This is a favorite attraction for many families- will your family agree?

  • Myrtle Waves Water Park

Ready to splash with no sand? Myrtle Waves is just the place. Whether your speed is a lazy river or the tallest, fastest slide Myrtle Waves has you covered. Watch for specials, and hit up this great attraction near Broadway at the Beach!

  • Top Golf

After a long day at the beach or exploring, settle in for a fun evening at Top Golf. Play one of the many games with your group or just aim at the targets like any driving range. Take advantage of the refreshment offerings and enjoy the scenery!
