About Your Stay

General Information

• This is a smoke-free unit.

• Parking is in the driveway in front of Unit B only.

• The washer and dryer are in the laundry room. Please check the dryer and remove lint after each use. Please shake off sand outside before using the washer.

• Trash should be put in the large trash bin in front of the garage.

Beach Access

• The beach is about a .8 mile walk from the house if you choose to walk.

• There is public parking in Garden City and Surfside Beach if you choose to drive. They are located at the end of most streets along Waccamaw. There are many free parking opportunities in Garden City, and some low-cost paid options as well. Pay close attention to the signs and follow the directions to download and use the parking apps.

  • Garden City paid parking is $1 per hour

  • Surfside Beach paid parking is $2 per hour

• Please hose off beach chairs, umbrellas, and other beach items after each use if you bring them inside the house.

• Please hose yourself off when leaving the beach to keep sandy floors to a minimum.

Checking Out

• Please check the dishwasher prior to leaving the unit and run it if there are any dirty dishes.

• Please sweep or vacuum up any excessive sand.

• Please leave towels in one central location, in front of the washer/dryer. It is not necessary to make the beds; our housekeeper will do that.

• It is not necessary to strip or make the beds.

• Check out time is 10am and cleaners may arrive as early as 10:05 on the day of your departure.
